O Lord Jesus, as we enter this sacred day of Spy Wednesday in Holy Week, we recall the moment of betrayal that set in motion the deep mystery of Your Passion. In this time of reflection, we also see our own hearts, tainted by moments of weakness and misguided choices. Help us, dear Savior, to learn from Judas's misstep so we may truly repent and turn toward Your everlasting love.
O Sacred Christ, who bore the burden of betrayal with quiet strength, grant us the grace to recognize our faults and the courage to seek Your forgiveness. Just as the Church Fathers have testified to Your mercy and redemption, inspire us today to embrace sincere contrition and to mend the broken places within our souls.
- Guide us in understanding the profound lessons of sacrifice and mercy.
- Grant us the humility to admit our shortcomings and the wisdom to grow from them.
- Strengthen us to walk the path of reconciliation and to spread Your light in our troubled world.
O Lord, as we contemplate Your Passion and the sorrow of betrayal, lead us from despair to hope, from guilt to grace, and from division to unity in Your Church. May the deep reflection of this day prepare our hearts to fully appreciate the glorious resurrection promised by Your boundless love.
